Our saddle cover was born from a need for a waterproof cover that was ride-able and ultimately stayed in place, especially while mountain biking where fenders aren't common. After repeatedly purchasing different styles of saddle covers and losing them on the road, on the trail, and the final time, on a night ride through the sprinklers of the local golf course, we decided we needed to make our own solution for keeping the underside of the saddle dry and not losing the dang cover!

The cover utilizes three durable fabrics; an 8.25 oz cotton waxed canvas fabric, a polyurethane coated taffeta lining, and a 1000 Denier Cordura underflap. Waxed canvas repels water and wears beautifully and looks heaps better than that plastic bag you have on your saddle now.
We line the waxed canvas with a lightweight coated taffeta for extra protection from rain, sweat and sun. The Cordura underflap attaches to the main cover at the rear and weaves its way between the underside of your saddle and over the top of your seatpost, and meets the main cover again at the nose. This helps to protect the underside of your saddle too! Three attachment points fully secure the cover; a hook and loop attachment at the nose and two industrial strength Poly. snaps on each side of the saddle cover which help keep the cover in place while riding. The fit is completed with an elastic binding that edges the entire outer cover and snugs up underneath the saddle sides. This all keeps the cover securely fit to your saddle.
*Several of the saddle cover models also include cut-aways for their counterparts built-in saddle loops.

    Features:
    • Tough 8.25 oz. waxed canvas outer fabric
    • Coated taffeta lining
    • Cordura under flap (protects the underside too!)
    • Openings for saddle loops
    • Industrial strength snaps
    • WEIGHT: B17 1.7 oz, B67 1.9 oz

CARE:  Spot clean with water or mild soap if needed.  Don't keep it wet & rolled up, mold may grow. Condensation can form between the cover and saddle; after a wet ride, it's best to remove to let things air out. We leave ours on all the time, but have found moisture and mold on occasion.

Super Duper Brooks B68 saddle cover!

I ride a Jones 29 plus LWB HD/e, Large frame. Brooks B68 saddle. Cruise and single track with this bike. Allot of wet and allot of sticky mud in the late fall and winter months. I've had Randi Jo waxed canvas saddle cover on this bike for years. Ride every morning, 20 to 25 miles in all terrain and weather conditions. Use Otter Fabric Wax to recondition. My B68 saddle is well worn-in and used and it still looks like new. Cover is designed and fits perfect. Water proof and 106f sun proof too.

Is 6 years too long to wait to write a review?

I bought one of these in Aug 2018. Admittedly I keep my bike in a garage and not exposed to the elements, but I have to say this saddle cover still looks great (and does a good job of disguising my very nice Gilles Berthoud leather saddle). In the six years I've had it, I've only had to wax it once so far (I used Fjallraven wax, but just because that's what I had on hand). I picked Olive because I figured it would weather well and it has!

Couldn’t be more happy with the seat cover! Better than I had hoped for! As I’m thinking about more bike packing gear I’ll definitely be checking out there products. Having to wait about a month to get it was hard but that was my fault for not planning ahead for the rainy season I knew was coming. I’m glad they have enough business to be that far out! They make quality gear and I’d imagine great customer service from the hand written note I received with my seat cover! Thanks for your quality contribution to the biking world! I’m telling everyone I know that has a brooks saddle to check you guys out!

Just received my waxed canvas B17 cover. This thing fits like a glove! I'm astounded by the build quality and thoughtful design. Living in the rainy PNW, I'll be sure to have one of these on hand all year. Thanks!
