A Quick Note on Apron Production:  We make aprons approximately every 8 weeks.  If you are curious where they stand in our current lineup please email us at eric@randijofab.com or text at 541.525.4217.

We designed these shop aprons in the midst of running our former bike shop, Rainy Peak Cyclery. Improvements came along as the repairs rolled in and the years clicked past.

We start with quality 10.10 oz waxed canvas and trim the entire apron with nylon grosgrain ribbon. The divided chest pocket swings away to prevent tools from falling out while bending over and snaps in place in case you want to do jumping jacks.  Two rows of lower pockets give the wearer extra room for all the daily necessities close at hand. The bottom pockets are pleated for larger items and often catch dropped tools before they hit the floor. We utilize a cross strap system that takes the weight of the apron off your neck. An adjustable waist strap finishes the apron.

    Product Features
    • 10.10 oz waxed canvas
    • Two rows of sizable lower pockets
    • Narrow bib with swing-away chest pocket
    • Black nylon webbing straps cross in back for a comfortable fit
    • Adjustable waist strap and buckle that fits 32″-40″ waists (If outside of that range, or over 6' tall, please let us know)
    • Trimmed with durable nylon grosgrain ribbon
    • 29" long from top of bib to bottom of apron

CARE:  Do not wash.  Spot clean only.  They get better with lots of build-up (we think), but if it's really gross and you just can't take it any more we recommend soaking it in a bucket of cool or lukewarm water with a mild soap like Dr. Bronner's Castile soap and gently brushing the grimy surface till it's clean.

    Thoughtful Design

I received the apron as a birthday gift a mere three hours prior to my writing this review. As I was completing the finishing touches on the springtime overhaul of my beloved touring bike, my partner gave me this as a surprise. I was already familiar and very impressed with my Monkey Wrench Cycles cap that Randi Jo made. The high quality craftsmanship that went into the cap's construction was apparent from the moment I inspected its seams. The apron, on the other hand, is a bit of masterpiece. As I stood there in what is now my former apron, its three pockets stuffed with array of tools that have suffered many apron-induced falls, I nearly wept when I realized what I was unwrapping. The overhaul was on its forth day, and I was ready to put the tools away for a little while. With this apron I suddenly find myself motivated to work on the other bikes, as it's evident how much more enjoyable and easier my new apron will make the job. I still can hardly believe it even holds my pedal wrench!

    Thank You,

    AWESOME

WOW! This apron is awesome! The proportions are perfect (I'm 5'9") and the pockets aren't cumbersome, but they are plentiful; the straps adjust perfectly and smoothly without being cumbersome; it's just really smartly designed. I teach art and my beloved apron of many years needed to be retired. The apron is like my uniform and it often functions as an extension of myself in the classroom. I'm always apprehensive about donning a new shop apron, but this one has exceeded all of my expectations. A huge plus is the waxed canvas (waterproof!) and, you can get it in a myriad of colors to boot! I chose to go with the charcoal and special ribbon. It has held up so well over the past year. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Thanks Randi!
